Stephen Glaude

Stephen Glaude is Executive Director of Men Can Stop Rape, a National Organization which mobilizes young men to find and use their strength for creating a culture free from violence, especially Men’s Violence Against Women.
Mr. Glaude has extensive experience in the management and development of national non-profit organizations as he has served President of the National Congress for Community Economic Development and as Executive Director of the National Association of Neighborhoods.
Former government positions Include – Deputy Under Secretary for Intergovernmental Relations at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Special Assistant to the President in the Office of National Drug Control Policy at the White House and Director of Discretionary Grant Programs in the Office of Community Services at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
He is a native of Washington, DC and a graduate of Morgan State University in Baltimore, Md.
